Odyse

Help

The short answers. Anything else, write to us.

Joining a trip someone shared

Open the invite link on your iPhone or iPad and Odyse takes you straight to the trip. If the link opens this website instead, Odyse isn't installed yet — install it, then open Trips → Join a trip and paste the code from the end of the link.

You'll be asked for a name to show on that trip. It's per-trip, so you can be Sam on one and Dad on another.

Leaving a trip, and being removed from one

Leaving revokes your access; it doesn't delete what you added. Shared expenses stay in the trip's pool, because other people's balances depend on them. Anything you kept private — your own expenses, your packing list, your documents — becomes unreachable and comes back if you're invited again.

The exception is shared packing items. If you were bringing the first aid kit, that's no longer true once you leave, so it's removed rather than left on a list someone is relying on.

Oddies

Oddies are what cloud AI is charged in. You buy them in packs in the app, each AI generation costs some, and the cost is worked out on our servers rather than in the app. Planning that runs on your own device is free and is never charged for.

Working offline

An active trip is fully readable with no signal — itinerary, map pins, bookings, packing list, phrases. Planning works offline too, on your device's own model rather than the cloud one.

Deleting your account

In the app, under Profile → Account. Deleting takes your trips, expenses, documents and receipts with it. See Privacy for what that means in detail.

Still stuck

Write to support@odyse.app. Sending from the app's own help screen attaches your app version and device, which usually saves a round trip. Feature requests and complaints both go to feedback@odyse.app.
